Branding is a lot more than just a pretty logo.
Having a consistent brand across all of your platforms & publications, whether they’re online or in print, is absolutely necessary to build the recognition it takes to make a success in any kind of business these days. A lot of research needs to be done in the beginning. Color philosophy plays a big part in how people will “feel” about your business. Think about it, your logo is usually your company’s very first impression, but if everything else isn’t consistent it’s going to leave your future customers or clients confused.
You need to think about the whole picture. What is your company about? Will you be offering products or services? What kind of message do you want to send? Fun & Friendly, Tough & Professional, or maybe Soft & Caring. These are all very different feelings for very different types of business. Get them confused and you could be in big trouble. I really don’t think you want your tax guy to be fun and friendly, or your caregiver to be tough and professional, or even your plumber being soft and caring. It just sends the wrong message.
So, take your time and get it right the first time and it will send the right message and make a great first impression. Think about the whole package. Is it going to be in print, online, or both? That matters a great deal because you don’t design them the same way and you need someone who not only knows the difference but excels at finding the right similarities and recognizing the many differences.

I would recommend her highly!
I've worked with Rena on all kinds of techy type projects and I can say with full confidence that she is responsible, timely, affordable, knowledgeable willing to take initiative, able to learn on the fly, and has a knack for all those server maintenance and WordPress issues that flouncy designers don't want to deal with. I would recommend her highly!

With Rena's help, we felt secure knowing that our website, that we had spent so much time to create would work as intended and without being compromised. Rena was always available to help us with our content and maintenance needs and was lovely to work with and gave us confidence that serving our needs were her top priority.

…and then my friend Elizabeth told me about Rena
She has changed my entire online life. She is aptly named The Blogging 911 and I was dialing 911 when I finally learned about her.
She cleaned up my website...(a total disaster with terrible stuff and mistakes), she helped me in every way. I can email her the smallest question and she is back to me in a flash. I cannot recommend more highly Rena...she's a savior. She is reasonable, she is so smart, and she gets all of the ins and out of WordPress.
