Today’s post is a writing challenge. This is how it works: participating bloggers picked 4 – 6 words or short phrases for someone else to craft into a post. All words must be used at least once and all the posts will be unique as each writer has received their own set of words. That’s the challenge, here’s a fun twist; no one who’s participating knows who got their words and in what direction the writer will take them. Until now.
At the end of this post, you’ll find links to the other blogs featuring this challenge. Check them all out, see what words they got and how they used them.

I’m using: novel ~ cycle ~ guide ~ integrity ~ language ~ photo
They were submitted by: Jenniy from https://climaxedtheblog.blogspot.com/
“Why? That’s all I want to know. Why?” Marianne asked her captor. “What have I ever done to you? I’m the one who should hate you!”
“Is that what you think? Poor little Marianne who had everything handed to her on a silver platter and then didn’t appreciate any of it. You have never had to work hard for anything your whole life. Little miss goody goody-too-shoes who had a man and couldn’t keep him and then wanted to blame everyone else when things fell apart.”
“Bitch, you don’t even know me! Just because you slept with my husband doesn’t mean that you have an inside scoop on my family. Just because you sleep with any man who looks at you doesn’t mean they aren’t regretting it the very next morning.” Marianne screamed at her. “You’ve never had a “real” relationship in your life. You’re a cancer in this town!”
“Such language coming from Miss Apple Pie! You have this photo-perfect life and you don’t appreciate it. I hate you! I’ve always hated you! You with your perfect clothes, and your perfect hair. Little Miss Integrity who the whole town thinks is the best thing since spun sugar. Homecoming Queen, Prom Queen you had it all! The perfect parents, the perfect husband, the perfect kids. You make me sick!”
“You’ve never had to struggle with anything your whole life. You don’t know what’s it’s like wondering if your daddy was going to come home and pass out or come home and make everybody else’s lives miserable.”
“You’ve never been dragged out of bed at 3 am because you left your bike in the driveway and it’s not his fault he pulled in 3 sheets to the wind and ran it over and then punished you by making you stand outside in the dark, freezing rain the whole night.”
“You haven’t a clue what real life is like Miss Goody-Goody to shoes, but you’re going to learn. I’m going to make sure of it. She through a large box and a pack of sharpened pencils. Here I thought this might keep you out of trouble write the next great American novel. Hell, maybe you’ll be the next Jessica Smart…of course, she survived there’s no guarantee for you.”
After her captor left she decided to see what was in the box. She slowly took the lid off not trusting that it wasn’t another setup. Inside were some old magazines she must have stolen from Bella’s Beauty Salon because there were all at least 10 years old. At least, it’s something to keep my mind occupied. She picked up another book that was that bottom of the box. The Guide To Keeping Your Husband Happy by Betty Jean Belue. Marianne slung the book to the furthest reaches of the barn and sank to the floor. She had to get out of here now!
She spotted the old cycle leaning against the outer wall of the barn where it looked like it had stayed for the last 40 years. There has to be something on there that will help be get out of here!
STAY TUNED TO PART 14 NEXT MONTH!
