Today’s post is a writing challenge. This is how it works: participating bloggers picked 4 – 6 words or short phrases for someone else to craft into a post. All words must be used at least once and all the posts will be unique as each writer has received their own set of words. That’s the challenge, here’s a fun twist; no one who’s participating knows who got their words and in what direction the writer will take them. Until now.
At the end of this post, you’ll find links to the other blogs featuring this challenge. Check them all out, see what words they got and how they used them.

It’s so funny that I would get these words this month. I was waiting to announce some big changes that are coming in January, but it was just fate I guess that I would get these words!
I am excited to share my big news with you! Starting January the 1st The Blogging 911 will cease to exist. I’m not giving up my business, I could never do that. I absolutely love what I do and want to actually do even more in the coming year.
I sure you probably have a strong suspicion what my big surprise is and you would be right. I’m getting a big name change, a new outlook, and a new view. I’ve been homebound for the last seven years and I can’t actually hit the road full time like we want to do.
I couldn’t leave momma like that, but as the days fly by I see her shrinking a little bit more each and every day. The cancer is eating at her body as fast as the Alzheimer’s eats at her mind. Like vultures scraping the bones of the latest road kill on the side of the highway. The only blessing is that she doesn’t know how sick she really is. We know the end is near and as painful as it is I just can’t stand to see her suffer.
On June 1st, we are planning a road trip extravaganza. A practice run, you could say, for the day we make our home on wheels permanent. Six weeks, two countries, and over 12,000 miles. Just hubby and I and a really big camping trip!
Some people will surely think that we have just vanished or maybe that we’re up Shit Creek without a paddle wearing cowboy boots, but we have planned this trip for years. “One day,” we kept saying, well one day happens to be June 1st! Six weeks of campgrounds, sleeping in the van or in the tent, showering when available, and seeing the world and all it’s beauty because we’ve seen enough of the ugly and need to get away!
Don’t worry though, I’ll be taking all of you with me! We’ll be talking about #VanLife, working from anywhere around the world, WordPress and so much more. Want to keep up? Head over to http://wandering web designer.com sign up for our latest posts and maybe I’ll see you on the road!

That is beyond exciting! And I’m glad you are doing it. So many of us put it off until it isn’t physically possible any longer. Grab hold and go!
And we get to go with you!
(Any chance you’ll make it up to Canada?)
